Air Fryer Frozen Corn Dogs

  • Both regular-sized corn dogs and mini corn dogs cook perfectly in the air fryer.
  • They taste just like your fair favorite at home in the air fryer.
  • The outside is golden and crispy, while the hot dog is tender and juicy.
  • They make the perfect quick dinner or serve the mini corn dogs as a party appetizer.

Ingredients

  • Corn dogs: Use your favorite brand of corn dogs. I like the State Fair brand.
  • Olive oil spray: If you want to use an oil spray, especially for the mini corn dogs so they don’t stick together, you can LIGHTLY spray the corn dogs before cooking but it’s not necessary.

Kitchen Tools

First, you need an air fryer, I love this one because it’s BIG and I can make all the corn dogs at once. You will also need some kitchen tongs for the regular corn dogs and a large frying spoon for scooping the hot mini corn dogs out of the air fryer.

How To Cook Corn Dogs In Air Fryer

  1. Place. Add the frozen corn dogs on a stick or mini corn dogs to the air fryer basket.
  2. Air fry. Cook at 370°F for 6 minutes.
  3. Flip & Shake. After 6 minutes, flip the corn dogs on a stick or shake the air fryer basket if you are cooking mini corn dogs. Cook for an additional 1-2 minutes or until lightly crispy on the outside.

Expert Tips

  • Smaller air fryer. If you have a smaller air fryer, the regular-size corn dogs with the stick might not fit. Just cut the stick shorter to make them fit.
  • Overcrowd. Don’t overcrowd your air fryer. Leave enough room so that the air can circulate all the way around to ensure that all the corn dogs cook evenly.
  • Shake. For the mini corn dogs, shake them halfway through. Flip regular-size corn dogs with kitchen tongs.
  • Air fryer. Every air fryer cooks a bit differently so you might need to adjust the time depending on the desired doneness.
  • Dipping sauces. Of course, ketchup and mustard but also try dipping them in bbq sauce, ranch, blue cheese, tartar sauce, and even queso dip.
