Frequently Asked Questions

Is spinach and banana smoothie healthy?

Yes! Spinach is packed with lots of nutrients that are good for your eyes as well as antioxidants which may reduce oxidative stress and prevent some chronic diseases. Also, this spinach and banana smoothie is naturally sweetened using fresh bananas.

Can I use other greens?

Sure thing! My second favorite to use in smoothies is kale. However, you can also use Swiss chard, beet greens, arugula, and collard greens. Just note that some of these have a stronger flavor or texture which may alter the smoothie.

Most definitely! Actually using frozen ingredients makes an ultra-creamy smoothie! You can prep up containers with the bananas and spinach ahead of time and freeze them.
