Party Punch

  • This recipe is so quick and easy to make, it’s done in less than 10 minutes.
  • I add this party punch to milk jugs to take with us for tailgating or a day on the lake!
  • This makes a large batch and can serve anywhere from 40-80 people.
  • While this drink is non-alcoholic, you can easily add a little alcohol depending on the type of party you are having.

Ingredients

  • Frozen Concentrate: We used lemonade, orange juice, and grape juice frozen concentrate for this recipe.
  • Fruit Juice: cranberry juice and Hawaiian punch are absolutely delicious in this party punch!
  • Water: to bring this to the right consistency, you’ll need quite a bit of water.
  • Soda: bring it all together with some ginger ale or Sprite soda.

How To Make Party Punch

  1. Add. All of the concentrates, juices, soda, and water to a larger pitcher or punch bowl.
  2. Mix. The juices together to make an even mixture and all the juice concentrates are melted.
  3. Add alcohol. I like to add Bacardi rum or Titos’s Vodka but if you want it non-alcoholic just skip this step.
  4. Chill. Punch in the refrigerator for a couple of hours to get the perfect temperature.
  5. Serve. Cold and in fun cups to make for the perfect party drink.

Tips & Variations

  • Make Ahead. If you want it to chill in the refrigerator, make sure you make it ahead of time.
  • Serve right away. If you find yourself in a pinch, you can make this drink minutes before the party starts. Decrease the water slightly and add ice to keep it cool.
  • Alcohol. This party punch is excellent without alcohol but it’s even more fun with it. I’ve added vodka, rum, and tequila, the options are endless. Cheers!
  • Large Container. This makes a lot of punch! You are going to want to make sure you have a large enough container to mix everything together before transferring a portion of it to a pitcher or punch bowl.
  • Swap Out Flavors. Feel free to swap out any juices and sodas with other flavors you love.
  • Soda. To get that fizzy texture you love, make sure you add the soda portion to the punch right before serving. Soda begins to lose its fizz after a couple of hours.

Recipe FAQ

What is the best way to serve Party Punch?

When I make this punch, it’s easiest if you mix the punch in big plastic storage containers. Or if you have one of those drink coolers that they use for sporting events, that would work perfectly too!

Can you make Party Punch ahead of time?

Yep! If I want to make this ahead of time for a party, I’ll make it in the plastic storage container and then fill empty gallon milk jugs with the party punch. Put them in the freezer and take them out a day before the party. This also works great if it’s super hot the day of your party, you can take them out when they are still semi-frozen and they will stay cold.

How much punch do you need for 40 guests?

As a rule of thumb, you should have 1 gallon of punch for every 10 guests. This recipe serves anywhere from 40-80 people depending on how much each guest drinks.

How do you keep a punch cold at a party?

Make the punch ahead of time, and keep it in the refrigerator until ready to serve. Keep adding ice cubes to the pitcher or punch bowl throughout the party to keep the punch cold.

Storing

  • Store. Party Punch in an open container, in the refrigerator, for 1 day. If storing for multiple days, make sure to have it in an airtight container for optimal freshness. The fizz of the soda only lasts a few hours, so add that portion right before serving.
