Raspberry Lime Smoothie
This Raspberry Lime Smoothie is a refreshing smoothie, making it a perfect way to start your day!
If you’re craving a refreshing and tart drink, this Raspberry Lime Smoothie will ignite your taste buds and take them to a whole other level.
Me and smoothies are besties. I love a good, refreshing smoothie. No matter what flavor, smoothies can always make me smile. This Raspberry Lime Smoothie, however, is one of my favorites.
There’s just something about the combination of sweet and tart that I just can’t get enough of. Each sip leaves me wanting more and I find that *somehow*, my lime smoothie needs a refill pretty quickly after it was just full.
While this delicious smoothie tastes amazing during the hot summer months, I can assure you that you’ll make and drink this any time of the year.
You’ll be hard pressed to find another smoothie recipe that sticks out in your mind as this one does. I’ve created this for so many family and friends that they often ask me if I’ll make and bring this to the latest family gathering. (Of course, I will! It’s a win for me too when I get to make and drink it!)
If you’re looking for a smoothie that tastes great any time of the day, this Raspberry Lime Smoothie will be your new number one choice!
RASPBERRY LIME SMOOTHIE INGREDIENTS
● LIMEADE JUICE: two cups of limeade juice.
● YOGURT: 1 cup of yogurt, I always have a big tube of vanilla yogurt but you can use any flavored yogurt. The key lime pie yogurt flavor is amazing in this smoothie!
● RASPBERRIES: 2 cups of fresh or frozen raspberries. If you use fresh raspberries, you will need to add some ice cubes.
●LIME: 1 lime.
● ICE CUBES: if you don’t use frozen raspberries, I would add a handful of ice cubes.
HOW TO MAKE A SMOOTHIE
To make this breakfast energy smoothie, simply:
STEP 1: Place all ingredients into the blender (liquid ingredients first).
STEP 2: Blend on high for 2 minutes or until smooth. Scrap down sides and blend for another 30 seconds.
STEP 3: Serve and enjoy!
ADDITIONAL SMOOTHIE MAKING TIPS
BEST BLENDER FOR MAKING SMOOTHIES: I make smoothies almost every day and I’ve gone through my share of blenders. Here is the blender I use and love, it’s fast and makes the best smoothies. I also liked that it comes with the single serve option because sometimes blending is a hassle because I don’t feel like cleaning the pitcher. But with the single serve, it is a lot less hassle to clean, plus there isn’t anything wasted because I can make just the right amount. And it has no problems blending ice!
ADD PROTEIN TO KEEP YOU FULL: I often make this smoothie in the morning, especially when I don’t have time to make breakfast, I add my protein powder to the smoothie. I love that I can’t taste the protein powder (I hate the taste of protein powder) in this smoothie but I know it’s there because it keeps me full until lunchtime.
USE FROZEN FRUIT: I like to use frozen fruit instead of ice cubes in my smoothies. For this smoothie you want to use frozen raspberries, I just buy a big bag of them in my local grocery stores freezer section. But you if want to use fresh raspberries, no problem just add about a cup of ice cubes.
FILL UP YOUR BLENDER: You always want to layer your ingredients softest to hardest (frozen). First, add the limeade, greens, and yogurt. Then, add frozen raspberries.

We just made this smoothie and it was awesome!
Can you substitute lime juice for the limeade?
I have never tried it but I don’t see why not! 🙂
its mouth watering. i m going to try this on my weekend. thanks for sharing it
I love this recipe.
Your images are so beautiful!!
I’m new to smoothies and this one looks simple and delicious! I’m a bit confused as to what to do with the lime though. I Googled lime garnish and it says it’s to decorate your drink. So is the lime actually part of the recipe and go in the blender with everything else or is it just for decorating your glass? Thanks! 🙂
Yes, just a optional lime slice for decoration on the glass! 🙂
Possible stupid question alert: What is limeade?
It looks like a raspberry ocean. If you know what i mean. Fantasy ocean. It feels so good just look at it. Definitely on my freaking hot summer days and nights drink resolution list.
Just made this, it was so yummy! Would definitely work great as an adult beverage!
This smoothie looks like the epitome of refreshing! I love the amazing pink color, too!
