Ingredients

  • 2 boxes Stove Top Stuffing (chicken or turkey) 6 oz. each
  • 4 Tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 medium yellow onion chopped
  • 3 ribs celery chopped
  • 2 cups shredded carrots
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 ½ cups chicken or turkey broth

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray 9x13-inch baking dish with non-stick cooking spray. Set aside.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat melt the butter. Add the onions, celery and carrots. Sautee for about 5-10 minutes or until the onions become translucent and carrots are soft. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Remove from heat.
  • In a large bowl, mix the Stove Top stuffing mix, vegetables, and chicken or turkey stock until combined.
  • Pour the stuffing mixture into the prepared baking dish. Spread it out evenly.
  • Bake uncovered for 25-30 minutes or until the top is slightly browned.
  • Let cool for a few minutes and serve.

Notes

  • Customize Your Stuffing. Feel free to add in some cooked sausage, dried cranberries, or diced apples to give your Stove Top stuffing more homemade flavor.
  • Bake Uncovered. You want your baked stuffing to get a little crispy on top
  • Use Pre-Cut Veggies. Buy your onions and celery cut and the carrots shredded so you have less chopping to do!
  • Let It Sit. After cooking let it sit for about 10 minutes before serving.
