Equipment

  • Griddle

Ingredients

TOPPINGS:

Instructions

  • Preheat a griddle to 375°F. Spray with non-stick cooking spray.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk eggs, milk, vanilla, and cinnamon together.
  • Dredge both sides of each slice of brioche in the egg mixture, then cook on the griddle until browned and no longer soggy. Flip and brown the other side.
  • Top with powdered sugar or syrup.

Notes

  • Toppings. Prepare and wash blueberries and strawberries to top the french toast. You can also add powdered sugar for taste and looks.
  • Challah Bread. If you don't have Brioche Bread, use Challah Bread. They are very similar in taste and texture.
  • Meal Prep. If needed, you can make the egg and milk mixture the night before. Make sure to cover it with plastic wrap and store it in the refrigerator until ready to use the next day. Make sure to give it a quick whisk the next morning just in case the ingredients settle.
  • Griddle. While you can make these on either the stove top or griddle I highly recommend using a griddle. It's much easier to cook a lot at once and it's easier to flip the bread.
