Ingredients

  • 4 ears corn
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil or melted butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Place the corn in the air fryer basket. Using a spoon, drizzle olive oil onto the corn. Rub the corn with the olive oil so it’s evenly coated. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  • Cook at 370°F for 6 minutes. Flip the corn and cook for another 6-9 minutes depending on how done you like your corn.
  • Top with butter and enjoy.

Notes

  • Buy corn as close to the time it was picked as possible for the sweetest flavor.
  • Don't stack the corn and leave a little bit of space between the ears. Air frying works best when the air can circulate around the food. If you have a small air fryer or need to cook a double batch it may be necessary to cook the corn in multiple batches.
  • Add garlic and parmesan. Infuse the olive oil or butter with chopped garlic before adding it to the corn and serve topped with a mixture of grated parmesan and chopped parsley.
  • Add chili and lime. Sprinkle the cooked ears of corn with a bit of spicy chili powder and a squeeze of lime. You can even sprinkle it with a little crumbled cotija cheese or parmesan cheese.
  • Store. If you have leftover corn on the cob, store it in the fridge for up to four days in an airtight container. You can reheat the whole ears in the oven or air fryer until heated through. You can also trim the kernels from the cob and use the kernels in other dishes such as this chipotle corn salsa.
