Take your sandwiches, burgers, and fries up a notch with this creamy aioli mayo recipe. It's so easy to make in just minutes with only a few ingredients, yet adds tremendous flavor to your dishes. All you need are six simple ingredients to make a batch of garlic aioli (plus some salt and pepper). It's a flexible recipe that you can also adjust and alter to make it to your own tastes.
Mix mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, salt, and cayenne in a bowl. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
Fresh ingredients matter. Fresh garlic and freshly squeezed lemon juice make this sauce taste the BEST so don't swap them or leave them out.
Give it time. Let it sit for at least thirty minutes (even better overnight) to let all the flavors meld together.
Use high-quality mayonnaise. The brand doesn't matter -- it can be your favorite but this isn't the best dish for using a budget brand.
Store. In an airtight container or jar for up to one week in the fridge. Do not freeze garlic aioli.
