Easy Christmas Crack

Christmas Crack is the easiest and most scrumptious treat you'll make this holiday season! Salty, crunchy crackers are all dressed up with a sweet and buttery mixture that's topped off with chocolate. Add whatever toppings your heart desires, and enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 sleeve saltine crackers
  • 2 cups milk chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350F. Line a large baking sheet with aluminum foil or use a silicone baking mat. Spray foil/mat with non-stick cooking spray.
  • Line the pan with saltine crackers.
  • In a medium-sized pot, combine the butter and sugar. Bring them to a boil, stirring constantly for about 2-3 minutes or until it’s bubbling.
  • Pour mixture over saltine crackers. Spread the mixture evenly with a knife. 
  • Place the pan in the oven and bake for 5-8 minutes.
  • Remove the pan from the oven and top with chocolate chips. Once they start melting, spread them over the top.
  • Sprinkle with your favorite toppings. Place in the refrigerator for about 15 minutes or overnight.
  • Once the chocolate has hardeneds, break into pieces.

Notes

  • LEFTOVERS: Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
