Easy Veggie Dip

Veggie dip is a quick and easy sour cream and mayonnaise based dip flavored with tasty dill. It's perfect for any party or get together. Enjoy it with veggies or chips!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayo
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 Tablespoon dill weed dried or fresh
  • ½ Tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • 1 teaspoon Lawry's Season Salt Lawry's is the best but any season salt will work
  • Veggies

Instructions

  • In a small/medium sized bowl, mix together all the ingredients. 
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
  • Cut up veggies and enjoy. 

Notes

  • Quick and Easy. This recipe comes together so quickly and easily, you could probably have your kids do it for you! Just stir, cover, and cool and enjoy this Veggie Dill Dip. Yes, it’s really that easy!
  • Make it Garlicky. I like that dill is the most powerful flavor in this dip, and is only enhanced by the onion powder. However, if you don’t mind (or really love)  a kick of garlic to go along will the dill flavor, add a 1/2 tablespoon of garlic powder to the mix!
  • Chips. Look… I get it. Sometimes veggies just don’t hit the spot the same way a salty potato chip does! Consider serving some chips alongside your fresh veggies for a less healthy but delicious alternative. 
  • More Onion. Do you love the hint of sweet onion powder in this dip as much as I do? Then you need to toss in a tablespoon of onion powder. It gives the slightest texture to the dip that is bound to make your mouth water!
  • Store. Dill dip with sour cream in an air-tight container or covered with plastic wrap in the refrigerator for 3-5 days. When ready to serve remove from the fridge and enjoy!
