I won’t have to go out in the cold this year to enjoy my favorite drink because I can now make my own Homemade Peppermint Hot Chocolate. And the best part is that this delicious peppermint hot chocolate is guilt-free

1 ½ cups milk* 1 ½ cup heavy cream 1 Tablespoon Sweet'N Low pinch of salt 2 ounces bittersweet chocolate chopped 4 ounces milk chocolate chopped 1 teaspoon peppermint extract mini marshmallows for topping
In a saucepan, heat the milk, heavy cream, salt and Sweet'N Low on medium heat until it begins to simmer.
Remove from heat and stir in chopped chocolate and peppermint extract. Continue stirring until the chocolate melts.
Serve and top with mini marshmallows or a peppermint stick. Enjoy!
You can use low-fat, 2%, or whole milk.
