Tips for the BEST Orange Creamsicle Cookies

  • Let the cookies cool before frosting them. If the cookies are still warm at all, the frosting will melt and your cookies will be ruined. Make sure the cookies are fully cooled to room temperature prior to frosting!
  • Thin the icing as needed. If you find that your frosting is too thick to easily spread, stir in a splash of orange juice until you reach the desired consistency.
  • Use a cookie scoop. It’s SO important to make sure all of your cookies are the same size so they bake evenly. Use a cookie scoop to make sure they’re all about 1 TBSP in size.

How long will Orange Creamsicle Cookies stay fresh?

In an airtight container at room temperature, these homemade cookies will stay fresh for about 3-4 days. Make sure you give the frosting a little time to set before you attempt to stack the cookies.
