Chocolate Raspberry & Cream Muddie Buddies
These Chocolate Raspberry & Cream Muddy Buddie recipe is extremely addicting. It is so hard to STOP eating these little muddy buddie’s, before you know it, the entire bowl will be gone. Trust me!
Just like all muddy buddie/puppy chow recipes, today’s recipe requires no baking at all. Yay! And you probably have all the ingredients in your pantry to make a batch right now.
For the Oreo’s I used the NEW Raspberry Oreo Fudge Cremes, the raspberry creme gives these muddy buddies a slight hint of raspberry flavor and the fudge covered Oreos add a delicious chocolate flavor, making these one of my favorite muddy buddie recipes. And they make a perfect snack for Valentine’s Day.

Total Time

Ingredients
Chocolate Raspberry Muddy Buddies:
- 1 cup Bright Pink Candy Melts
- 1 teaspoon shortening
- 5 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 8 Raspberry Oreo Fudge Cremes, crushed
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Cream Muddy Buddies:
- 1 cup Colorburst Pastels Candy Melts or white chocolate
- 1 teaspoon shortening
- 5 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 8 Raspberry Oreo Fudge Cremes, crushed
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Begin by crushing 16 Raspberry Oreo Fudge Cremes into a fine crumb using a blender or food processor. Add half of the Oreos to one large ziplock bag, and half of the Oreos into a 2nd large ziplock bag. Add 1/2 cup of confectioners' sugar to each bag. Set aside.
- Set out two large bowls. One for the "chocolate raspberry" version and one for the "cream" version. Pour fivecups of Chex cereal into each bowl. Set aside.
- You will need two small bowls. Melt the bright pink candy melts and shortening together in one bowl using the microwave. Repeat with colorburst pastels candy melts or white chocolate & shortening in a separate bowl.
- Pour bright pink candy melts over 1 bowl of cereal, colorburst pastels/white chocolate over the second bowl of cereal. Stir GENTLY to coat each. You do not want to break the cereal up. Pour the mixtures each into the reserved ziplock bags. Seal the bags and shake until all the cereal is coated with the sugar/Oreo mixture. Pour each mixture together in a large bowl and gently mix together and enjoy.
