5 Star Review

I make this every year using any leftover Halloween candy!

Ingredients

Pizza brownie topped with M&M's and candy, marshmallow cream, and nutella.
  • Brownie mix. Use any brand or type of boxed brownie mix you love. Just make sure it’s the family size!
  • Chocolate chips. Semi-sweet chocolate chips are best for adding more chocolate flavor that’s not overly sweet.
  • Chocolate Frosting or Nutella. We spread this over the top of our baked brownie pizza. Both work great but the Nutella has a smoother texture and nutty flavor. If you’re using chocolate frosting you make it homemade or use store-bought!
  • Sprinkles. Choose your favorite!
  • Candy. I love the color M&Ms add along with cut up Milky Way bars.
  • Marshmallow creme. To drizzle over the top.

How To Make Brownie Dessert Pizza

Collage of images showing how to mix up the brownie dessert pizza from mixing the brownie batter, adding the chocolate chips, in the pan, and topped with Nutella.
  1. Mix. Together the brownie mix using the directions on the back of the brownie mix box.
  2. Add. The chocolate chips to the brownie mix and gently fold them into the batter.
  3. Pour. The brownie mixture into a prepared pizza pan. Bake your brownie pizza until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let it cool completely.
  4. Spread. The chocolate frosting or Nutella to the top of the brownie. Top with sprinkles and your favorite candy toppings. Drizzle with marshmallow creme.

Tips & Variations

  • Allow the brownies to cool. Before you add your toppings so that the frosting or Nutella doesn’t end up melting.
  • Add some peanut butter. Swap the M&M’s for Reese’s Pieces and the marshmallow fluff for creamy peanut butter. You may need to heat up the peanut butter to make it easier to drizzle.
  • Like your brownies with nuts? You can add them to the brownie mix along with the chocolate chips or sprinkle them over the top. Walnuts and pecans are my favorites in brownies.
  • Swap out the candy. This dessert is a tasty treat to use up Halloween candy! Any combination of chocolate candies work great on top so feel free to swap out the M&M’s and Milky Way bars with your favorites.

Fun and Festive Drinks. Everyone loves a refreshing glass of Homemade Lemonade. Or you can switch things up with some Blueberry Lemonade instead.

BBQ and Picnic Favorites. You can’t go wrong with Air Fryer Hot Dogs, Pulled Pork Sliders, Air Fryer Hamburgers and these Country Style Ribs. Add a few easy sides such as 7-Layer Salad, Potato Salad, and Coleslaw.

Desserts. Enjoy your dessert pizza with some favorites such as this Cool Whip Dip, M&M Cookies, Rice Krispie Treats, and Oatmeal Fudge Bars.

Leftovers & Storing

  • Store. Your leftover brownie pizza covered in the pan and store at room temperature or in the fridge for up to a week.

Tools Needed For Recipe

  • Hand Mixer. Makes mixing the brownie batter so much faster.
  • Pizza Pan. I used a 13-inch pizza pan and if you are bringing the dessert pizza to a party, these disposable pizza pans work great too.
  • Pizza Cutter. This is my favorite pizza cutter to make the perfect triangles or squares.
